A small hospital in the Redwood Valley area is seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care in a collaborative healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers a chance to support patient health and safety through accurate medication dispensing and patient counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions according to physicians' orders and legal regulations
  • Review patient medication profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapies and identify potential interactions
  • Counsel patients and healthcare staff on medication use, side effects, and storage
  • Maintain proper documentation and compliance with pharmacy laws and facility policies
  • Collaborate with medical staff to optimize pharmaceutical care and contribute to patient treatment plans

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid pharmacist license in the state of California
  • Previous experience as a staff pharmacist in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and healthcare regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
