This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to support a high-volume retail pharmacy located on a hospital campus in the Kalamazoo, MI area. The pharmacy fills approximately 600-700 prescriptions daily, serving a busy and diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and accurately fill prescriptions in a timely manner
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Provide patient counseling on medication use and safety
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain thorough documentation and records
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Pharmacist License
- Michigan Controlled Substance License
- Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
