Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Anderson, California

Urgent demand for experienced pharmacists to support an expanding per diem team this busy season. We are seeking 6-8 skilled pharmacists to provide flexible coverage across multiple Northern California locations, including Sacramento, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern CA (Redding, Chico).

This per diem opportunity suits pharmacists interested in supplementing their current schedules by working 1-2 shifts weekly on average. Candidates must be comfortable commuting locally within these regions, with mileage reimbursed for travel exceeding 30 miles one way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert pharmacy services in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Open and close the pharmacy efficiently, adhering to established protocols.
• Manage and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations.
• Use McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) software to process prescriptions accurately.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience, including pharmacy opening/closing responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead and manage pharmacy technician teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Adaptability to varying scheduling needs and store locations.
• Valid pharmacist license and all required certifications.

Location: Flexible within Northern California; must be willing to commute to various pharmacy sites as needed.
