Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Appleton, Wisconsin

A retail pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide expert medication dispensing and counseling services. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with at least one year of recent experience who values flexibility and enjoys working in a low-volume environment.

Location: Appleton, WI

Schedule/Hours:

• Per Diem shifts on June 25, 29, 30; July 20, 21, 22, 23; August 24, 25
• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with regulatory standards
• Provide professional counseling to customers regarding medication usage and safety
• Collaborate with veterinary professionals, as the pharmacy serves a veterinary clientele
• Maintain comprehensive records in compliance with pharmacy laws and company policies
• Ensure the safe storage and handling of pharmaceutical inventory

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Wisconsin pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of one year recent experience practicing pharmacy, preferably in retail or veterinary pharmacy settings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage low-volume pharmacy workflow efficiently
