Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Austin, Texas

A retail pharmacy requires an experienced Staff Pharmacist to provide essential medication management and patient care on a per diem basis. • Wednesday, 3/25/26: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday, 3/26/26: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday, 3/27/26: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications following regulatory standards
• Review and verify prescriptions for appropriateness and safety
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient workflow
• Utilize Pioneer Rx software for prescription processing
• Work alongside pharmacy technicians providing support and oversight

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current and active Texas Pharmacist License
• Experience practicing in a retail pharmacy environment
• Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing systems, preferably Pioneer Rx
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently during shifts
