Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Austin, TX

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a per diem staff pharmacist to provide high-quality medication dispensing and patient care in a fast-paced setting. This role requires a licensed pharmacist familiar with retail pharmacy operations and eager to contribute to a supportive and efficient team environment. This position utilizes Pioneer Rx and benefits from dedicated technician support.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on medication use
• Review medication orders for appropriateness and drug interactions
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to ensure seamless pharmacy operations
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and patient education

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist license in Texas
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule/Hours:

• Wednesday, 3/25/26, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday, 3/26/26, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday, 3/27/26, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Location: Austin, TX

This per diem role offers the flexibility to support pharmacy coverage during critical shifts. Technician support will be available during your shifts to assist workflow and enhance service delivery.
