Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Bad Axe, Michigan

This full-time pharmacist role offers a unique opportunity to work in both retail and hospital inpatient pharmacy settings, with 70% of your time dedicated to retail and 30% to inpatient pharmacy services. Located conveniently with both sites just a block apart, this position balances dynamic, patient-focused work in two environments. The position is direct hire and offers a stable weekly schedule with four shifts per week, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, including one weekday off and rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, codes, and standards
• Review medication orders for accuracy, allergies, and drug interactions
• Prepare intravenous admixtures following established formulas and safety protocols
• Provide accurate medication information and answer questions for staff and patients
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards
• Collaborate effectively within a team and demonstrate the ability to work independently

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
• Licensed pharmacist in the State of Michigan
• Experience in hospital pharmacy preferred or strong willingness to learn hospital pharmacy practices
• Comfortable using Pioneer RX for retail pharmacy and CPSI software in hospital settings, with a transition to EPIC anticipated
