Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Binghamton, New York

Seeking two knowledgeable retail pharmacists to support a busy pharmacy in Upstate New York. This contract role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment starting immediately for a duration of 13 weeks or more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and accurately fill prescriptions ensuring patient safety and adherence to regulations
• Provide clear counseling to patients on medication use, side effects, and storage
• Supervise and oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow and compliance
• Manage inventory and support daily retail pharmacy operations

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist license is required
• Prior experience working in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
