Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Binghamton, New York

Join a dynamic retail pharmacy team located in Upstate New York, supporting patient health and medication management in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking two skilled Pharmacists to provide exceptional pharmacy services with a focus on accuracy, patient counseling, and leadership.

Location:

• Johnson City, NY (close to Binghamton)

Position Type:

• Contract, starting ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks or longer

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and fill prescriptions following all regulatory and safety guidelines
• Provide counseling to patients regarding medication use, side effects, and answer their questions
• Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active New York State Pharmacist license
• Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Strong communication skills with patients and team members
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
