Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Boerne, Texas

A per diem role is available for a Staff Pharmacist in a community-focused retail pharmacy located in Boerne, TX. Schedule:

• Training Dates: June 25, 26
• Shift Dates: June 29, 30; July 1, 2
• Shift Hours: 8:45 AM – 6:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions
• Process high-volume electronic prescriptions (10+ orders per page)
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and safety precautions
• Verify non-sterile compounding practices
• Administer immunizations as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare providers on medication therapy management
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain workflow efficiency
• Manage inventory and oversee medication recalls
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Support drive-thru and delivery services

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacy License
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Ability to adapt to Computer RX software (training provided)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
