Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Burnsville, Minnesota

A Retail Staff Pharmacist position is available within a busy regional grocery store pharmacy setting in Minnesota. This ongoing contract-to-hire role offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent pharmacist position, with an immediate start date. The pharmacy operates with strong technician support, a newly installed robotic dispensing system, and utilizes the EnterpriseRx order entry system.

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• 40 hours per week with some flexibility for relief coverage
• Monday is the pharmacy’s busiest day; candidates should be comfortable managing higher volume early in the week

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions in a retail setting with an average weekly script volume of approximately 600
• Utilize the EnterpriseRx system efficiently to process orders and manage workflow
• Provide excellent patient communication and counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff in a well-supported, team-oriented environment
• Maintain compliance with Minnesota pharmacy laws and regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Retail pharmacy experience is required
• Experience with EnterpriseRx preferred or ability to quickly learn the system
• Licensed pharmacist in Minnesota or willingness to obtain licensure
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
• Reliable, consistent, and motivated to commit long-term to a permanent role
