Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Carthage, IL

This per diem position supports a pharmacy managed by a leading FQHC/340B pharmacy services provider. Coverage is needed for a full week in a retail pharmacy located in Keokuk, IA, near the Illinois border. The assignment runs Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 29, with shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. including a one-hour lunch break.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily retail pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring smooth workflow and accuracy
• Dispense prescriptions accurately and counsel patients as needed
• Maintain compliance with 340B program regulations and procedures
• Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system for inventory and order processing

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in Iowa
• Experience in retail or community pharmacy settings required
• Experience managing technician staff and operational duties such as opening and closing the pharmacy
• Prior 340B pharmacy experience highly preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently within an established team of support staff
