A retail pharmacist opportunity is available to work within a health system in the Klamath Falls area, providing professional pharmacy services on the outpatient side. This contract position offers a 13-week duration with an immediate start, serving retail pharmacies in close proximity. The role requires floating between locations within approximately five miles, ensuring flexible coverage across multiple facilities.

Location:
Klamath Falls, OR (floating between nearby sites)

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Monday – Friday: 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM (some Saturdays required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify, fill, and check prescriptions accurately
• Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Counsel patients regarding prescription medications and over-the-counter products
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards within the retail pharmacy setting
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, preferably in retail or outpatient settings
• Ability and willingness to float between multiple locations within the health system
