Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Chiloquin, Oregon

A retail pharmacist opportunity is available in Chiloquin, OR, offering a contract position with an immediate start. This role involves working on the retail/outpatient side within a health system that operates multiple pharmacy locations in the area, allowing for a float position among nearby sites.

Schedule and Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (4/7 schedule)
• Monday through Friday: 7:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM

Responsibilities:

• Verify, fill, and check prescriptions accurately
• Provide oversight and supervision of pharmacy technicians
• Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Full-time availability with flexibility to float among sites within approximately five miles
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
