Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Chowchilla, California

An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced retail pharmacist with strong skills in managing medium to high volume prescriptions. This position requires expertise in providing excellent pharmaceutical care and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Location: Chowchilla, CA
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Excellent, consistent hours

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately dispensing prescription medications and counseling patients
• Managing inventory and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborating with pharmacy staff, including Spanish-speaking technicians, to ensure smooth workflow
• Utilizing Rx30 software for prescription processing and record-keeping
• Serving patients from smaller communities around Fresno within a daily commute of 30-40 minutes

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of retail pharmacy practice experience
• Proficient in Rx30 pharmacy software
• Ability to manage medium to high prescription volume efficiently
• Spanish-speaking skills are strongly preferred but not required, as pharmacy technicians provide language support
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute daily to surrounding communities
