Join a dynamic healthcare environment as a Staff Pharmacist providing essential pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting. This contract opportunity, starting June 1st, offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with coverage required every sixth weekend (subsequent days off during the week). The role is based in a reputable medical center and requires a valid Ohio Pharmacy License alongside hospital pharmacy experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately review, interpret, process, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
- Monitor and manage patient medication therapy for safety, appropriateness, and effectiveness.
- Ensure departmental compliance with pharmacy policies, quality programs, and regulatory standards.
- Communicate drug information clearly to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Support medical emergencies by participating in drug therapy management and maintaining adequate medication supplies.
- Coordinate daily pharmacy technician activities to meet patient and organizational needs.
- Uphold the facility’s values including empathy, integrity, stewardship, agility, and teamwork.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing.
- Minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
