A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist on a contract-to-hire basis in Rathdrum, ID. This position offers a day shift schedule working 24-32 hours per week within a supportive and collaborative environment. The pharmacy handles a daily volume of 300–400 prescriptions, utilizing the Pioneer system.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (If working Saturday, choose Thursday or Friday off)
The pharmacy team consists of 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier, emphasizing strong teamwork and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient counseling to ensure proper medication use
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a cooperative team environment
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Idaho pharmacist license
- Pharmacy retail experience required
- Ability to work well within a team and support a customer-focused atmosphere
