Providing expert pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced retail environment, this opportunity focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and effective team collaboration. The role involves verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, and supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.

Location:

  • Rathdrum, ID (near Coeur d’Alene)

Schedule/Hours:

  • 1st Shift
  • Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Saturdays worked allow for Thursday or Friday off)
  • 24-32 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions utilizing the Pioneer pharmacy system
  • Provide professional patient counseling to support medication adherence and safety
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow
  • Uphold a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork within the pharmacy setting
  • Manage daily prescription volume of approximately 300-400 scripts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and clear pharmacist license in Idaho
  • Prior pharmacy experience, ideally in a retail setting
  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
  • Updated resume, skills checklist, and professional references ready for submission

Additional Details:

  • This is a 13-week contract with potential for permanent placement
  • Team consists of 2 pharmacists, 3 technicians, and 1 cashier
  • Pharmacy operates with Pioneer software system
