The work environment features an average inbound prescription volume of 200-300 scripts per day, supported by a team of 5 pharmacy technicians and 2 pharmacists. The pharmacy utilizes Prime RX for order entry.
Location: Columbus, OH
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in a fast-paced retail setting
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacists to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Manage prescription order entry using Prime RX system
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio pharmacist license
- Retail pharmacy experience required
- Experience with Prime RX is a plus
- Ohio pharmacy technician license required
Additional Details:
- Contract to hire position with an initial 13-week assignment
