Retail Staff Pharmacist - Columbus, OH

Location: Columbus, OH
Type: Contract to Hire (13 weeks temp to direct hire)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Environment: Retail pharmacy with an average of 200-300 inbound prescriptions per day
Team: 5 pharmacy technicians and 2 pharmacists

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on proper usage
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers
• Manage prescription processing using Prime RX software
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws
• Support day-to-day operations to achieve smooth workflow

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Valid pharmacist license with retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Prime RX is preferred
• Ohio pharmacy technician license is required
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
