Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Culver, Indiana

This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to support a community retail pharmacy setting. The role involves ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of medications, maintaining pharmacy security, and providing excellent patient care through precise order entry and medication verification.

Location:

• Winamac, IN (local candidates only)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• 3-day training/orientation required before starting

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescription orders and verify technician-prepared medications prior to release
• Maintain security protocols for controlled substances and pharmacy inventory
• Accurately enter patient information and prescription data using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred)
• Uphold business casual dress code in a professional environment

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Indiana licensed pharmacist
• Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system desirable
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently and follow established pharmacy policies

This is a contract role starting June 29th and continuing until a permanent pharmacist is hired. It offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with occasional Saturday shifts every other week. Candidates should be local and prepared to complete a three-day orientation prior to starting.
