Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Delhi, New York

A full-time Staff Pharmacist is needed to support an outpatient retail pharmacy serving a high volume of patients at the primary location in Cooperstown, New York. This role requires occasional coverage in Oneonta and Delhi for vacation and sick time. The ideal pharmacist will have strong retail or outpatient experience, a customer service focus, and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense approximately 1,100 prescriptions weekly in a high-volume retail setting
• Provide patient counseling and immunization services
• Support the Meds to Beds program for hospital patients
• Utilize the PioneerRx pharmacy management system and EPIC EMR for patient demographics and insurance processing
• Maintain excellent customer service standards and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Flexibly cover Oneonta and Delhi locations on occasion

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License in good standing
• Prior retail or outpatient pharmacy experience, preferably in a high-volume setting
• Familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy management system preferred
• Experience with EPIC or similar EMR systems preferred
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain one
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to adapt and provide occasional coverage at multiple pharmacy locations

Schedule and Location:

• Full-time contract position, 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Primary workplace is Cooperstown, New York, with occasional required coverage in Oneonta and Delhi
