Employment Type: Direct Hire, Temp to Hire, or Travel Contract

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, Day Shift, 40 hours per week

Compensation and Benefits - Direct Hire

  • Direct Hire Salary: $132,000 to $175,000 based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages from newborns to the elderly
  • Supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacy technicians and billing clerk
  • Monitor patient profiles for accuracy including drug allergies, drug interactions, duplicate therapy, and rational drug therapy
  • Endorse and uphold retail pharmacy policies and procedures
  • Maintain quality control, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste
  • Participate in the 340B program, antibiotic stewardship, pharmacy and therapeutics meetings, and other pharmacy related meetings
  • Stay current in the pharmaceutical field through continuing education, conferences, professional journals, and professional societies

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience required
  • Retail pharmacy experience required
  • 340B program experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong clinical judgment across all patient age groups
  • Natural leader and team builder in a small pharmacy environment
  • Self motivated and comfortable working in a rural community setting
  • Committed to being an active and invested member of the community you serve

Qualifications

  • Active Colorado Pharmacist License required
  • Willingness to relocate

Education

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
