Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Donnellson, Iowa

Join a managed pharmacy providing essential support within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B program. A full week of coverage is needed at this location in the southeastern corner of Iowa, near the Illinois border. Location:

• Keokuk, IA — Situated on the river at the Illinois state line

Schedule:

• Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 29
• 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Provide retail pharmacy services including dispensing medications and counseling patients
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations including opening and closing responsibilities
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards including 340B program requirements
• Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system for pharmacy management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Iowa pharmacist license required
• Experience in retail or community pharmacy essential
• Prior exposure to 340B program operations highly preferred but not mandatory
• Proven ability to manage and supervise technician staff effectively
• Comfortable working independently and handling various operational duties
