Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Donnellson, Iowa

A pharmacy position is available for a Staff Pharmacist in a managed pharmacy setting supported by FQHC/340B pharmacy management services. This assignment provides an opportunity to work per diem, covering a full week from Monday, June 22 to Friday, June 29, with pre-approval for travelers.

Location: Keokuk, Iowa — situated in the southeastern corner of the state along the river, adjacent to the Illinois border.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• One-hour lunch break daily

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive retail/community pharmacy services, including dispensing and patient consultations.
• Handle opening and closing duties for the pharmacy.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Utilize the Datascan system by WinPharm for pharmacy operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Iowa pharmacist license required.
• Proven experience in retail or community pharmacy settings.
• Prior experience supervising pharmacy technicians.
• Familiarity with 340B pharmacy programs is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Comfort working with pharmacy technician support to facilitate daily operations.
