Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Dublin, Ohio

Immediate opportunities for Per Diem pharmacists with strong retail and specialty pharmacy expertise. This role supports a specialty retail pharmacy serving patients managing complex medication regimens, often taking 8-15 medications daily. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional communication and consultation abilities, coupled with patience and compassion for Medicare/Medicaid patients who may have low literacy.

• Dublin, OH

Schedule/Hours:

• Per Diem availability needed
• Pharmacy hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medication management and counseling for patients with chronic, advanced diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and multiple sclerosis
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapies tailored to complex patient needs
• Utilize Pioneer Rx software to manage prescriptions and maintain accurate records
• Deliver patient-centered care with an emphasis on understanding and addressing individual challenges

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio pharmacist license
• Proven experience in retail and/or specialty pharmacy settings
• Strong knowledge of the top 200-400 retail drugs, with specialty pharmacy experience highly preferred
• Expertise in disease state management and patient consultation, especially for chronic conditions
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with a diverse, underserved patient population
