Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | East Dubuque, Illinois

A retail pharmacist position is available for per diem coverage at a new pharmacy located in East Dubuque, IL, serving clinic patients in Galena, Illinois. This opportunity offers a unique chance to be the sole pharmacist in a low-volume setting with strong support from an experienced pharmacy technician proficient in Pioneer software.

Assignment Details:

• Term: May 26th – June 5th
• Shifts: 1st shift
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
• Software: Pioneer

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and ensure safe, timely delivery to customers under the supervision of the manager.
• Counsel patients on medication use, regimens, and safety.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following organizational policies.
• Maintain stock levels as well as controlled drug records and inventories.
• Resolve patient issues and clarify insurance coverage matters.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in Illinois.
• Minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience.
