Retail Staff Pharmacist in Elkhorn, NE

This opportunity is for a Part-Time Retail Pharmacist position at a grocery store pharmacy located in Omaha, Nebraska. The role offers an ongoing contract assignment with a flexible two-week rotating schedule designed to accommodate your availability and pharmacy needs.

Schedule:

• Week 1: Sunday (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM), Tuesday (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Friday (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM) — Total 24 hours
• Week 2: Tuesday (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Saturday (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM) — Total 17 hours *Schedule flexibility is available based on discussion with the Pharmacy Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescriptions and ensure quality control
• Provide patient counseling to promote medication understanding and adherence
• Oversee pharmacy workflow while supporting and managing pharmacy technicians
• Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service within the retail environment

Qualifications:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing required
• Recent experience in retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed
• Experience with McKesson Enterprise preferred but not mandatory
