Retail Staff Pharmacist in Elkhorn, NE

This opportunity offers an engaging part-time role as a Retail Pharmacist at a grocery store pharmacy in Omaha, Nebraska. The position provides a flexible two-week rotating schedule designed to accommodate both the pharmacy’s needs and your availability, with the possibility of schedule adjustments in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager.

Schedule:

• Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours)
• Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (17 hours)

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety
• Provide informative patient counseling tailored to individual needs
• Supervise pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service within a retail environment

Qualifications:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in retail pharmacy is preferred
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
• Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed
• Experience with McKesson Enterprise is a plus but not required
