A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist in Espanola, NM, with a nearby location in Los Alamos, NM. This role involves managing pharmacy operations during daytime hours with a flexible start time between 8:30 and 9:30 AM. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, including rotating weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians
• Deliver excellent customer service and provide patient counseling
• Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only, no compounding)
• Handle a high-volume prescription load averaging approximately 600 prescriptions per day
• Utilize the Pioneer system to manage pharmacy operations

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License
• Experience or familiarity with non-sterile compounding is advantageous
• Background in high-volume retail pharmacy preferred
• Open to recent graduates seeking to begin their pharmacy career
