Provide professional pharmacy services as a Retail Pharmacist in a high-volume setting, ensuring exceptional patient care and accurate prescription processing. This contract role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment serving approximately 600 prescriptions daily.

Location:
Espanola, NM (with work at Los Alamos facility)

Schedule:

• Day shift with flexible start times of 8:30 AM or 9:30 AM
• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (rotating weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
• Provide excellent customer service and perform thorough patient counseling
• Verify USP 800 Non-Sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only—no compounding required)
• Manage high volume workflow efficiently while maintaining accuracy
• Utilize the Pioneer pharmacy system for daily operations

Qualifications:

• Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License required
• Experience with non-sterile compounding verification is preferred
• Background in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment is a plus
