A retail pharmacist position is available in Espanola, NM, supporting a busy pharmacy serving approximately 600 prescriptions daily. This contract role offers an opportunity to work within a high-volume environment using the Pioneer pharmacy system.

Location: Espanola, NM
Shift Details:

• Flexible start time at 8:30 AM or 9:30 AM
• Pharmacy hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM; Saturday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (rotating weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and guide pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth daily operations
• Provide exceptional customer service and detailed patient counseling
• Verify non-sterile compounded prescriptions according to USP 800 guidelines (verification only, no compounding required)
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License
• Experience or familiarity with non-sterile compounding preferred
• Background in high-volume pharmacy environments is advantageous
