This Retail Pharmacist position offers the opportunity to support a busy pharmacy serving the community with over 600 prescriptions daily. The ideal candidate will work primarily during day shifts and oversee pharmacy technicians while providing outstanding customer service and patient counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring smooth daily operations
- Counsel patients expertly on medication use and safety
- Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only, no compounding required)
- Manage workflow in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License required
- Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus
- Background in a high-volume pharmacy setting highly valued
- Open to new graduates eager to build retail pharmacy skills
- Flexible start time at 8:30 or 9:30 am to accommodate pharmacy needs
Location:
- Espanola, New Mexico
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (rotating weekends)
