Retail Staff Pharmacist - Espanola, NM

This opportunity calls for a Retail Pharmacist to support a high-volume pharmacy serving around 600 prescriptions daily in the Los Alamos, NM area. The role requires flexibility with start times at either 8:30 AM or 9:30 AM, with pharmacy hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, plus rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The system utilized is Pioneer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth daily operations
• Deliver outstanding customer service and provide thorough patient counseling
• Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only; no compounding required)
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License
• Experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting is preferred
• Familiarity with non-sterile compounding is a plus
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
