Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Evans, Georgia

This direct hire position offers the opportunity to serve as a Staff Pharmacist in a closed-door retail pharmacy setting. Located in Evans, GA, this role requires a professional committed to precise and safe medication management, working Monday through Friday during daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, interpret, enter, and verify medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Dispense medications in compliance with regulations, professional standards, and facility policies.
• Evaluate medication regimens for appropriate drug selection, dosing, allergies, contraindications, and potential drug interactions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals regarding medication selection, dosage forms, side effects, and compatibility.
• Recommend cost-effective and therapeutically appropriate alternatives when necessary.
• Provide accurate medication information to healthcare staff and patients.
• Maintain controlled substance records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support clinical pharmacy services, including drug consultations, IV-to-oral conversions, renal dosing adjustments, and non-formulary medication reviews.

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy.
