Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Evanston, Illinois

A growing healthcare provider is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to support their retail pharmacy operations in the Chicago, IL area. This role offers a valuable opportunity to deliver expert pharmaceutical care and ensure patients receive proper medication guidance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Location: Chicago, IL (with proximity to Evanston, IL)

Schedule:

• Multiple shifts available, generally 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM on selected dates

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute prescribed medications to patients following physician and healthcare practitioner orders
• Provide detailed and clear information to customers regarding medication usage and potential side effects
• Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering trust and confidence in pharmaceutical care
• Support daily pharmacy operations with attention to detail and compliance with all regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License is required
• Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to safety and accuracy
