Provide expert pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for diverse patient populations. Location: Fairfield, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with every 6th weekend coverage (with subsequent weekday off)

Licensure: Valid Ohio Pharmacy License required
Experience: Hospital pharmacy experience preferred (minimum one year)

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately review, validate, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
• Monitor patient medication therapies to ensure appropriateness, safety, and effectiveness.
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Participate in emergency drug therapy management and medication preparation.
• Oversee pharmacy technician activities to support department needs efficiently.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing with the State Board.
• One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
