Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Fitzgerald, Georgia

This per diem pharmacy position offers an opportunity to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a managed retail pharmacy setting located in Brunswick, GA, approximately one hour south of Savannah and one hour north of Jacksonville, FL. The role is ideal for a pharmacist experienced in retail and community pharmacy environments who is comfortable opening and closing the pharmacy as well as supervising pharmacy technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on their use
• Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system for prescription processing and record keeping
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Assist with 340B program activities (prior experience preferred but not required)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in the state of Georgia
• Proven experience in retail or community pharmacy, including technician supervision
• Familiarity with 340B programs is a strong plus
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage pharmacy operations smoothly

Schedule for the coverage period:

• Monday 6/22: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday 6/24: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday 6/25: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday 6/26: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday 6/29: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
