Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Fort Madison, Iowa

A per diem Staff Pharmacist opportunity is available to provide full-week coverage at a managed pharmacy located in the southeastern corner of Iowa. This role supports an FQHC/340B pharmacy under GapRx’s management, delivering essential retail pharmacy services in a community-focused setting.

Schedule:

• Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 29
• 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive retail pharmacy services including medication dispensing and patient counseling
• Open and close the pharmacy efficiently while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and maintaining workflow
• Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system to manage pharmacy operations accurately
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support high-quality patient care in a 340B pharmacy environment

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Iowa pharmacist license
• Experience in retail/community pharmacy with responsibilities for opening, closing, and supervising
• Familiarity with 340B pharmacy program preferred but not required
• Comfortable working with a strong pharmacy technician team
• Prior use of Datascan or similar pharmacy management systems is a plus
