Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Fort Madison, IA

A managed pharmacy located in the southeastern corner of Iowa near the Illinois state line is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for per diem coverage from Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 29. Coverage hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.

This pharmacy supports Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and 340B program operations, providing critical community access to medications. Experience in retail or community pharmacy settings is essential, along with the ability to open and close the pharmacy and supervise pharmacy technicians. Prior experience with 340B programs is highly preferred but not required. You will be working with strong pharmacy technician support and utilizing the Datascan system by WinPharm.

Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa pharmacist license
• Retail or community pharmacy experience
• Ability to supervise and manage pharmacy technicians
• Familiarity with 340B program preferred
• Experience with pharmacy opening and closing procedures
