Retail Staff Pharmacist in Fresno, CA

An opportunity is available for an experienced retail pharmacist skilled in managing medium to high volume prescriptions. This role requires practical knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and proficiency in Rx30 software. Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred to enhance communication within the team and customer base, although not mandatory as pharmacy technicians provide Spanish language support.

Location: Fresno, CA, with manageable daily commuting to nearby smaller communities (within 30-40 minutes).

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

• Oversee retail pharmacy operations ensuring accurate dispensing of prescriptions
• Manage medium to high volume prescription processing efficiently
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and patients to provide excellent customer service
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
• Utilize Rx30 software for prescription management and record-keeping

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months retail pharmacy experience
• Proficient with medium to high volume prescription processing
• Experience using Rx30 pharmacy software
• Spanish-speaking skills strongly preferred but not required
• Ability and willingness to commute daily within a 30-40 minute radius of Fresno
