Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Gilbert, Arizona

Engage as a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist supporting retail pharmacy operations in the vibrant Gilbert, AZ area. You will join a newly formed team supporting multiple pharmacy locations operating within a food and pharmacy retail setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical services and patient care in a retail environment.
• Cover shifts as needed to manage call-outs, vacations, or volume fluctuations.
• Participate in an initial 8-hour training session on-site with additional training offered as required.
• Work closely with pharmacy technicians and manage pharmacist-only locations as applicable.
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy system for dispensing and record keeping.
• Maintain compliance with immunization requirements and emergency BLS certification.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in retail pharmacy, with a preference for 5+ years to maximize compensation.
• Immunization privileges and current BLS certification.
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is preferred but not mandatory.
• Availability to work 2-4 days per week on a per diem basis.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in a dynamic retail setting.

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday, typically 10 AM to 7 PM, with some locations extending to 8 PM.
• Shift hours vary; candidates must be flexible to cover potential gaps.
