Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Glendale, AZ

This per diem opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with recent retail experience seeking to contribute in a dynamic pharmacy setting. The role focuses on filling and dispensing medications accurately, interacting with patients, and supporting pharmacy staff in providing top-quality care.

Location:

• Glendale, AZ (urgent backfill in Phoenix, AZ area)

Schedule:

• Wednesday and Thursday, February 25 and 26
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM shifts

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring patient allergies are reviewed and addressed prior to dispensing
• Respond to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in accordance with established policies
• Deliver excellent customer service to foster positive patient experiences
• Collaborate with a team of one pharmacist and three technicians in a system using Pioneer Rx, managing a script volume under 100 per day

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
