A dynamic retail pharmacy team is being formed to support multiple locations throughout the greater Phoenix, AZ area. This per diem opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with retail experience seeking part-time work, offering flexibility to assist during peak periods such as graduations, summer vacations, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional pharmacy services at various retail locations operating Monday through Saturday, typically between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., with some stores open until 8 p.m.
- Cover shifts for call-outs, vacations, and volume surges, helping to maintain smooth pharmacy operations and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with strong pharmacy technician teams or, in some smaller locations, take sole responsibility for the pharmacy.
- Complete an initial eight-hour training shift plus additional training as needed to ensure familiarity with store operations and software systems (QS1).
- Administer immunizations and maintain current BLS certification.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ retail pharmacy experience; 5+ years preferred to maximize compensation.
- Current immunization privileges.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience with QS1 software is highly desirable.
- Ability and willingness to travel within commute range; mileage, meals, and lodging reimbursed for longer distances.
