A retail pharmacy opportunity is available on the campus of a busy medical facility in Kalamazoo, MI. This role requires managing a high-volume prescription workload with approximately 600 to 700 scripts processed daily. Operate within a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify and fill prescriptions in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth pharmacy operations
- Provide patient counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Maintain inventory and proper documentation, including controlled substances management
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Michigan
- Michigan Controlled Substance License
- Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
