Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Greenwood, IN

A well-established independent retail pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a per diem role in the Greenwood, IN area. This position offers the opportunity to support a pharmacy that primarily serves delivery patients, with minimal foot traffic—typically only one walk-in per day. The pharmacy environment is friendly and low stress, with a small but efficient team composed of one pharmacist and one pharmacy technician.

Location: Greenwood, IN
Type: Per Diem (part-time, as needed)
Duration: 13+ weeks
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, with shifts available from 9 AM to 5 PM or 12 PM to 8 PM (pharmacy open 9-5)
Volume: Around 200 prescriptions filled daily
Team: 1 pharmacist + 1 pharmacy technician
Start Date: Approximately 2-3 weeks from hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately entering and verifying prescriptions
• Managing phone communications professionally and promptly
• Providing exceptional patient care and counseling when needed

• Valid Indiana pharmacist license
• Prior experience in retail pharmacy settings
• Knowledge and experience with PioneerRX pharmacy system preferred
