Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Hamilton, IL

This per diem opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with retail and community pharmacy experience seeking to provide full-week coverage at a managed pharmacy located in the southeastern corner of Iowa, near the Illinois state line. The position supports a 340B pharmacy program managed by GapRx, a leader in FQHC and 340B pharmacy support and management.

Location: Keokuk, IA
Schedule:

• Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 29
• 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee opening and closing procedures of the pharmacy
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure smooth workflow
• Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and 340B program guidelines
• Utilize Datascan by WinPharm pharmacy system for daily operations
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa pharmacy license
• Experience in retail/community pharmacy settings
• Proven ability to manage and supervise pharmacy technicians
• Prior exposure to 340B pharmacy programs is highly preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication and organizational skills
