Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Harwich, Massachusetts

An opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide coverage at an outpatient/retail pharmacy attached to a hospital in Nantucket, MA. This contract assignment is approximately 13 weeks in length and requires full-time availability with day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a retail/outpatient setting.
• Utilize McKesson EnterpriseRX software to manage prescriptions and pharmacy operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with patients and healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold a valid Massachusetts pharmacist license.
• Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting is required.
• Familiarity with McKesson EnterpriseRX is highly preferred.
• Ability to work full-time day shifts with a positive and collaborative attitude.

Location and Work Details:

• Assignment is based on Nantucket, MA; access to the island requires ferry transportation.
• The hospital provides an apartment for travelers; however, due to housing shortages, shared accommodations with other travelers might be necessary.
• The position offers a unique opportunity to live and work in a picturesque island community.

Schedule:

• Five days per week
• Eight-hour shifts during daytime hours
