This opportunity offers per diem coverage starting June 1st in a retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy setting located in Henderson, NV. The pharmacy operates as a single-pharmacist site without the assistance of a pharmacy technician, handling a volume of 20-35 prescriptions daily. Training will be provided prior to the first day to ensure a smooth transition.

Schedule:

  • Monday, 6/1: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Tuesday, 6/2: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Wednesday, 6/3: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Wednesday, 6/10: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities include managing the dispensing process independently, providing exceptional patient care and support, maintaining clear and professional communication with both patients and healthcare providers, and demonstrating reliability with consistent, timely attendance. The use of QS1 software is required for daily operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist with an active Nevada license
  • Experience in retail pharmacy, preferably within specialty areas such as HIV/AIDS
  • Ability to efficiently manage pharmacy operations independently without technician support
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with patients and prescribers
  • Commitment to a positive and professional attitude in the workplace
