A retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled and experienced pharmacist to provide exceptional medication management and client care. This role requires a thorough understanding of pharmacy operations with a strong background in retail settings. The successful candidate will ensure accurate dispensing of prescriptions, counsel patients, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in a retail environment
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
- Verify prescription validity and insurance information
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers for stock management
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist with a valid pharmacy license
- Proven retail pharmacy experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications, pharmaceutical terminology, and practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and electronic health records

- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Location: Hialeah, FL
This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic retail pharmacy setting with a competitive pay range of $90-$95 per hour. Immediate start is preferred.
