Support pharmacy operations in Greensboro, NC as an Infusion Pharmacist on a contract basis with potential for long-term placement or permanent hire. This role requires a professional skilled in home infusion therapies, capable of thriving in a dynamic, patient-focused environment. Retail Pharmacists may also be considered for contract assignments while the search for an infusion pharmacist continues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify medication orders specifically for infusion therapies.
  • Oversee the sterile compounding and dispensing of infusion medications.
  • Ensure strict compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards to maintain safety and quality.
  • Provide clinical support and accurate drug information to healthcare staff and patients.
  • Collaborate closely with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.
  • Maintain precise documentation and adhere to all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Recent experience with infusion or home infusion pharmacy practice.
  • Strong expertise in sterile compounding procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of USP <797> and <800> guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Per diem availability with dates to be confirmed, typically a few days each week.
