Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - High Point, NC

An opportunity is available for an experienced Infusion Pharmacist to support a dynamic pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC. This contract assignment offers immediate coverage needs with the possibility of long-term placement or permanent hire. Retail Pharmacists will also be considered on a contract basis while the search for an infusion pharmacist continues.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for infusion therapies.
• Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications.
• Ensure strict compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards.
• Provide clinical support and drug information to both staff and patients.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain smooth workflow and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy settings is required.
• Strong expertise in sterile compounding.
• Thorough knowledge of USP <797> and <800> guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Additional dates to be confirmed, with shifts likely a few days each week.
