Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Hilliard, Ohio

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist on a contract-to-hire basis in Hilliard, OH. This role involves collaborating with a small team of pharmacy technicians and pharmacists in a fast-paced environment, managing an average of 200-300 inbound prescriptions daily.

Location: Hilliard, OH
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks with potential for permanent hire
Environment: Retail pharmacy with a team comprising 5 technicians and 2 pharmacists

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and verify prescriptions efficiently in a retail setting
• Manage prescription order entry using Prime RX system (experience preferred)
• Work closely with pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth daily operations
• Provide excellent patient counseling and support on medication usage
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Support inventory management and quality assurance efforts

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license with retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Prime RX pharmacy management system is a strong advantage
• Licensed Ohio pharmacy technician credentials (required)
