Retail Staff Pharmacist in Hollister, CA

An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support a retail pharmacy within a 250-bed community hospital setting, including an outpatient pharmacy. This role involves managing night shift responsibilities as the sole pharmacist during these hours, working alongside one pharmacy technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently during night shifts.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations during assigned hours.
• Utilize PioneerRX pharmacy system; EPIC experience is an advantage.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license.
• Proven retail pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency with PioneerRX; familiarity with EPIC is a plus.
• Ability to work full-time, specifically night shifts.
• Comfortable being the only pharmacist on duty during nights.

Schedule:

• Night shifts, 7 days on, 7 days off.
• Hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
