This travel contract position offers a direct client relationship and flexibility for assignments of 13 weeks or longer, with shorter contracts also considered.

Assignment Length: 13 weeks or longer (shorter contracts considered)
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Closed weekends and six major holidays at primary location
- Occasional weekend coverage at secondary retail location
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active New Mexico pharmacist license in good standing, or commitment to obtain prior to start
- Minimum one year as a registered pharmacist preferred
- APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification, or willingness to gain within 30 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong experience in retail pharmacy, preferably in a community grocery store setting
- Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians and manage daily pharmacy operations
- Flexibility to cover shifts at both primary and secondary locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare, review, and dispense medication orders following all protocols
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient medication profiles
- Supervise and direct pharmacy technician staff, verifying their daily tasks
- Participate in medical emergency response alongside the pharmacy team
- Conduct medication storage inspections and remove outdated medications
- Orient and train new pharmacy team members as needed
- Uphold infection control protocols throughout all pharmacy activities
