A retail pharmacy position is available on a contract basis at a busy pharmacy located on a major campus in Kalamazoo, MI. This fast-paced environment processes 600-700 prescriptions daily, requiring a skilled pharmacist dedicated to accuracy and patient care.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Verify and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians
- Provide knowledgeable counseling and support to patients
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Manage controlled substances as per state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Michigan
- Michigan Controlled Substance License
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, preferably in retail
