A well-established independent retail pharmacy in Indianapolis is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist for a part-time, per diem opportunity to support their team. This role involves providing essential pharmacy services primarily for delivery patients, with minimal walk-in traffic, allowing for focused, personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and verify prescription orders
• Manage telephone inquiries from patients and healthcare providers
• Collaborate with a pharmacy technician to ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Provide exemplary patient counseling and medication guidance

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Indiana pharmacist license
• Previous retail pharmacy experience, preferably in an independent setting
• Familiarity with PioneerRX dispensing software highly valued
• Resides locally and available for approximately 20 hours per week, with shifts typically from 9 AM to 5 PM or 12 PM to 8 PM
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Work Environment and Schedule:

• Location: Indianapolis, IN, near 38th Street
• Pharmacy operating hours: 9 AM to 5 PM
• Daily prescription volume around 200
• Support team consists of one pharmacy technician plus pharmacist
